What data we handle

Email you send us

When you write to hello@proqu.io or sales@proqu.io, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you tell us in your message.

Server logs

Like every web server, the server that hosts this website records each request in a log: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser type. We use these logs only to keep the website running and secure.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to our profiles on LinkedIn, GitHub and X. Nothing is sent to those services while you read our pages. If you follow a link, the privacy policy of that service applies.

Why we use it, and on what legal ground

  • To answer you. We use your email to reply and to follow up on our conversation. The ground is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or the steps you ask us to take before a contract.
  • To work with you. If you become a client, we use your contact details to carry out our agreement and to meet our legal duties, such as accounting.
  • To keep the website secure. Server logs are kept on the ground of our legitimate interest in a working and secure website.

Who receives it

Your data is handled by ProQu and by the providers that host this website and our email. They act on our instructions. We share data with public authorities only when the law requires it. Nobody else receives it.

Some of our providers may store data outside Kosovo. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards that the law requires for such transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Email: for as long as we need it to answer you and to follow up on our conversation. If you become a client, for as long as our agreement and the law require.
  • Server logs: for a limited time set by our hosting provider, then they are deleted.

You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy,
  • correct data that is wrong,
  • delete your data,
  • restrict how we use it, or stop using it when you object,
  • give you your data in a common format, so you can pass it on.

Write to hello@proqu.io. We answer within the time the law sets, normally within 30 days, and we do not charge for it.

Complaints

If you think we handle your data wrongly, please tell us first, so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (Agjencia për Informim dhe Privatësi), at aip.rks-gov.net. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact the data protection authority in your country.

The law that applies

We handle personal data under the Law on Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Kosovo (Law No. 06/L-082). Where the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) applies to our work with people in the EU, we follow it as well.

Children

This website is written for companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
